The 3DXSTAT ESD-PETG stands out for its exceptional chemical properties, superior to other materials like ABS. This filament has an amorphous structure that minimizes isotropic shrinkage, low moisture absorption (three times lower than ABS), and outstanding chemical resistance to dilute aqueous solutions of mineral acids, bases, salts, soaps, as well as aliphatic hydrocarbons and alcohols. Additionally, it emits very low odor during printing, making it ideal for sensitive environments.
The use of 3DXSTAT ESD-PETG is particularly suitable for 3D printing of electronic components such as those in the semiconductor field, for producing HDD parts, wafer handles, supports, and connectors. In industrial settings, it is used for handling, measuring, and sensing applications where ESD protection is essential.
This filament for 3D printers is designed to offer low particulate contamination and minimize outgassing and ionic contamination. Recommended print settings for optimal results are an extruder temperature between 230-260°C and a bed temperature between 60-90°C. For the best adhesion, it is recommended to use Magigoo Bed Prep Adhesive and 3DXTECH Polyimide Tape.
