Large print volume
The Kentstrapper Verve 3D printer has a volume of 20 cm3, similar in size to a rugby ball. The total build volume leaves enough space and freedom.
Quality First
A single stepper motor was chosen for the Z-axis movement, driving a trapezoidal bar with a maximum resolution of up to 5 microns. This allows the VERVE 3D printer to deposit layers as thin as 20 microns.
Large 2.8" screen
A 2.8-inch display has been placed on the bottom of the front panel for easy viewing and use. No awkward knobs catching dust, no cables in sight: everything is neat and in its place.
Steel hotend
Hotend completely made of steel, allowing for excellent performance in terms of durability, reliability, quality and printing speed. Furthermore, it is possible to interchange the nozzles quickly and easily by choosing between 0.4, 0.6, 0.8.
Automatic calibration
The Verve 3D printer is equipped with an automated calibration system that compensates for different table heights by measuring on a nine-point grid using a contactless inductive probe.
Titan Direct Drive
The Titan Direct drive extrusion system from e3D was implemented for the filament thrust, allowing a wide variety of filaments to be used and the best performance in terms of weight, size, reliability and precision.
Phoenix System
A power failure will never cause your 3D printing to fail again: the VERVE 3D printer can tell if power is being cut off and is able to save the process. This system also allows you to pause the print, and then resume it at a later date.
Reliable movement
A system driven by two stepper motors, each driving a belt, was chosen for the movement of the X and Y axes, to allow Cartesian motion to the extrusion equipment. A motor-reduction system was also fitted to the Y-axis motor, which allows a high printing speed to be maintained without pitch losses.
Narwhal dynamic view
Narwhal is a dynamic interface where colourful intuitive icons allow the user to access commands quickly and easily. No knobs, no clicks, the 2.8 inch touch screen display allows you to manage everything with a simple touch. With Narwhal you can start your 3D prints directly from a USB stick.
